Women's Cross Country team places 2nd at ACAA Championships
Bronwyn Murphy ran to a seventh-place finish to lead the women's team to a second-place finish at the 2025-26 ACAA Cross Country Championships, hosted by the Dalhousie Rams at Victoria Park in Truro, NS.
Murphy crossed the line in a time of 28:28.6, followed closely by last year's champion, Madesen Allen in eighth. Amani Oystreck was the next Mystic to cross the line, placing 10th, with Tina River, Juliette Crabtree and Abbey Keeping not far behind in 15th, 20th and 29th place respectively.
The Mystics finished in second-place, just three-points behind the Mount Allison Mounties who placed first.
Luke Conlon was the top finisher for the men, running to a 15th-place finish over th eight-kilometre race with a time of 34:52.0. Koen Schlief and Erik Cabascango finished in 25th and 26th place respectively, followed by Eric Palaco-Tobia in 29th and Lamar Keigan-Diggs in 40th. The men placed sixth in the team standings.
