Kozak & Maxwell top finishers at third invitational meet

Eva Kozak ran to a second-places finish at the third ACAA cross country invitational on Saturday afternoon in Truro, N.S. She crossed the line in a time of 29:26.7 in the six-kilometre race. An additional two kilometres were added to the race creating a second finishing opportunity for the women. Laurie MacDougall was the first Mystics runner to complete the course, placing 10th in a time of 45:53.0. Alex Frith followed in 12th, while Amelia MacDougall placed 14th.

On the men's side, Mason Maxwell placed sixth in the 8km race, crossing the line in a time of 31:05.2. Maxwell was followed by Anthony Gallant in 17th, Erik Cabascango in 21st, Eric Palaco-Tobia in 32nd and Lamar Keigan-Diggs and Logan Nickerson in 33rd and 36th respectively. The men finished third in the team standings.
