Strickland and Smith earn ACAA awards
Victoria Strickland and Keezaidra Smith were honoured at the 2025-26 ACAA Basketball Championships All-Conference Banquet.
Fifth-year forward Victoria Strickland earned ACAA first team all-conference honours after leading the Mystics to a second-place finish during the regular season. She averaged 13.2 points per game, shooting 35.6% from field goal range. She also had 65 rebounds this season, along with 22 steals and 19 assists in her 17 games played during the regular season.
Third-year guard Keezaidra Smith was named the Dyrick McDermott Defensive Player of the Year award. She played 24.7 minutes per game during the regular season, and averaged 6.1 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game this season.
The Mystics finished the regular season with a 16-5 record to place second in the standings and secure a bye to the semifinal round of the 2025-26 ACAA Championship. The Mystics are hosting the championship this weekend and will play at 3:00pm on Saturday.
