Lawton's Drugs Athletes of the Week

Emily Murphy

Fourth-year Left Side, Emily Murphy, is this week's Lawtons Athlete of the Week for Women's Volleyball.

According to Assistant Coach, Jamie Brown:

"Emily led the Mystics to a 3-0 win over UKC on Friday night. She had 5 kills, 2 aces, 8 digs and led the team on service reception which was a key in our success."

Céline Sterckel

Fourth-year Forward, Céline Sterkel, is this week's Lawtons Athlete of the Week for Women's Basketball.

According to Head Coach, Mark Foward:

"Céline showed great leadership on the weekend to  help lead the team to a 2-0 road record to open the season. She averaged 19.5 ppg, 5 rebs and 3.5 asssists over the two games. She shot 55% from the field including 38% from 3 point line and hit all 12 of her free throws.

On top of her performance on the floor she was also a visible leader with the younger teammates as they competed in their first regular seasons games."

Isaiah Cromwell-Wright

Fourth-year Forward, Isaiah Cromwell-Wright, is this week's Lawtons Athlete of the Week for Men's Basketball.

According to Head Coach, Danny De Palma:

"Isaiah Cromwell-Wright who led us with a game-high 32 points, along with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in Saturday's loss to STU. He netted 21 points in Sunday's game against UNBSJ plus three rebounds."
